More input needed.
A relatively small number of people voted for Sermons online. You can still vote, by the way.
However, most of you voted for a manuscript option. Thus another question:
How would you like to access this manuscript?
Options:
Download it to your computer. Sermons will be uploaded in .doc format. You will be able to open them with Microsoft Word. If you don't have or don't like Word there is a great alternative, OpenOffice (it's free). - Easiest in terms of implementing. A simple web interface will allow pastors to upload documents, and for you to download them.
- Sermons will be able to be sorted (by date, title, etc.)
- Sermons will be able to be organized (by pastor, season, etc.)
- Sermons will be archived for viewing at any time.
View it right on this site. Sermons will be posted right on the site.
- A little harder option in terms of implementing. Pastors will copy and paste the text into an online editor. Might get a little buggy, since Microsoft Word adds all kinds of extra stuff, but should work nevertheless.
- Sermons will be viewed in a online forum format. Comments could be added.
- Sermons will be sorted by author (pastor.) All the other sorting will be regulated by the forum script.
- Sermons will be accessible for viewing at any time.
Receive them via e-mail. You will have an option to subscribe (and unsubscribe) to a mailing of sermons.
- You will receive a copy of a sermon in your e-mail.
