St. John’s Lutheran Women’s Missionary League meets the 3^rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Joy Room.

The LWML is a group of women whose main goal is mission work. Some of our current mission projects are listed below:

• Contribute funds to a member of St. Johns studying to be a church worker.

• Purchase Gideon Bibles each quarter for others to learn about God.

• Help send children from St. John’s to Camp Linn Haven.

• Pay for a counselor to go to Linn Haven during children’s weeks.

• Monthly Sunshine Ladies that help congregational members in need.

• Serving groups that prepare a meal when there is a death.

• Contribute mite money to fund outside missions.

• Bingo at local assisted living facilities.

Our meetings may consists of bible studies, guest speakers or just getting together with the other LWML groups in our area.

The LWML also host the Secret Pal program.

Once a year in October the LWML holds a chicken pie sale which is our major fund raising project.
