They are in charge of caring for the sanctuary, the Pastors' vestments, and the preparation of the altar for worship services.  The Altar Guild is responsible for the festive decorations used during the church year. 

The Altar Guild is comprised of ladies from our congregation who volunteer to serve one month out of each year. During their respective months, these ladies ready the altar for each service by putting the altar cloths, candles and flowers in place. They prepare the bread and wine for Communion on the first Sunday of each month for the 8am service and on the third Sunday of each month for the 10:30 service. The Altar Guild generally has two meetings each year, one before Easter and one before Christmas to discuss flowers and decorations for the upcoming season.
